John Preston – Chief Executive Officer
John commenced working with The Brewers Association in January of 2021.
Most recently, John was the General Manager of Corporate Affairs at AusNet Services. He has also held senior roles at BHP and Pernod Ricard and has worked in various senior political roles across Federal and State Government
Sarah Lovett – Project Manager
Sarah joined the Brewers Association in August 2016.
She spent 15 years working in the fields of Information Technology, Sales and Operations Management in the pharmaceuticals industry in Sydney.
Prior to that, Sarah was a retail trainer for NSW lotteries.
After starting a family, she moved back to Canberra. With Brewers, she manages the day-to-day operations of the Association, as well as the Secretariat functions of the Technical Committee.
From December 2016 to June 2017, Sarah managed a major project in the Tasmania Beer Trail – a joint venture between the Brewers Association and the Tasmanian Government, promoting beer from grain to glass across the Apple Isle.
Sarah has managed several special events, including the State of Origin, Brewers Nights and Taste of Tasmania events at Parliament House on behalf of Brewers.
