Carlton & United Breweries, proudly part of Asahi Beverages, is Australia’s largest brewer. CUB traces its origins to the mid-nineteenth century when it first brewed Victoria Bitter and even earlier to the Cascade Brewery, which was established in 1824 and commenced brewing in Tasmania in 1832.
CUB has breweries in Victoria, Queensland, NSW, South Australia and Tasmania. It brews some of Australia’s most famous beers, including Victoria Bitter, Carlton Draught, Great Northern, Pure Blonde, Carlton Dry, Melbourne Bitter, Crown Lager, Cascade Premium Light and Matilda Bay. Its brands also include global and premium beers such as Asahi Super Dry and Peroni, and leading craft brands 4 Pines, Pirate Life, Balter, Mountain Goat and Green Beacon.
